Beeswax Hand Dipped Taper Candles - Set of 6

These beautiful hand dipped candles are from pure beeswax and 100% braided cotton wick with no additives meaning these candles are completely natural.

Natural beeswax colour can range from a bright yellow, orange to dark brown. The colour is determined, by how much the wax has been filtered and the flowers which the bees have been foraging on. Unlike most manufactured paraffin candles, beeswax is hypo-allergenic, great for people with allergies or other sensitivities. Because of the all natural properties of beeswax candles they are also clean burning. Meaning the candle will burn bright and clean with virtually no smoke or soot.

Due to the handmade nature of these candles, some slight variations can be expected

Tips – if the flame gets too big, the wick needs to be shortened to 5mm.

Safety – Place the candle in a well ventilated room, there should be at least 3ft (91cm) between the candle flame and the surface above it. If burning multiple candles, place them at least 3in (76mm) apart from each other.

Always put your candle in a non-flammable candle holder. Make sure the candle holder you use is designed for the particular candle style and large enough to collect molten wax. Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface. If your candles are a little loose in their holders, to fix the problem, light the candle and drip a pool of wax into the bottom of the hole in the candlestick. Press the candle's bottom into the wet wax, holding it upright until the wax hardens enough to keep the candle in place.

Keep your candle away from anything flammable, such as hair, clothing, decorations, books, paper, carpet, furniture, bedding, or drapes/curtains.

It is recommended you put out the flame with a candle snuffer to ensure the flame is fully extinguished, i.e. no glowing embers.

All burning candles should never be left unattended.
