These Cooling Neckties are a godsend in hot and humid conditions. Just soak in cold water for 20-30 minutes to hydrate the water absorbing polymer crystals. Can be worn as a headband as well. Another benefit of being worn around the neck, it helps keep the carotid arteries cool in heatwaves.

Great for travellers, hikers, campers, construction workers, landscapers, bakers, or kitchen staff also can be used for hot flashes or for headaches by wrapping it around head.

Each Cooling Necktie is made with the highest quality 100% Cotton material and inside the area for hydration (neck pad) is Sodium polyacrylate is a super-absorbent polymer (SAP) known for its extraordinary ability to absorb and retain 100 to 1,000 times its own mass in water. And swells rapidly into a gel-like substance. It does not irritate the skin and is Non-toxic.

Each tie measures approximately:
99cm (39") Long
5cm (2") wide
5cm (2") by 37.5cm (14.75") area for hydration (neck pad) and 31cm (12") on each side to be used for tying.

All measurements are approximate.

Non-Toxic, however, the Sodium polyacrylate can irritate the eyes and mucous membranes of the nose and mouth. Do not put the cooling necktie over your eyes or mouth or use as a teething toy.

Instructions for use:

Evenly distribute crystal contents.

Soak in water for 20-30 minutes to hydrate.

Do Not over soak - Over soaking may result in the non-toxic contents to leak out making them less usable.

You can re-soak or dip in water periodically as you wear them to freshen them up or hydrate a bit more as the water evaporates.

Do not freeze as it changes the properties of the polymer crystals.

Hand washable with a small amount of soap.

Hang to dry when not in use or place them on a towel or a surface to air dry.

Do Not store in as sealed plastic bag when hydrated as it can mildew and start to smell bad over time.

As you wear them and your body temperature starts to warm them up, flip them over and wear the other side - its still cold. You can also dip them in water for a few minutes, poor a bottle of water over them, or dunk them in a lake or river. This will rejuvenate the cooling process. Do not squeeze them! They will shrink on their own. When not in use, just hang them up to dry. It will take a week or more for the crystals to return to their original size. Freezing a cooling necktie is not recommended as it causes the crystals to turn hard and clump up.
