Containing a natural acidic chemistry (in the pH range 4.0 - 4.4) make our hydrosols potent yet safe substances with therapeutic and cosmetic benefits – such as pH balancing, toning, astringent and anti bacterial properties. While Hydrosol works with the skin, they can also be incorparated as a key ingredient into aqueous skin and cleansing formulations,used as a wash or spray directly to the affected areas of skin.

Having soothing, antimicrobial, anti inflammatory properties, apply to the skin as a toner, it soothes irritated and damaged skin caused by sun and wind burn, razor rash, chaffing, minor burns, blisters, cut and scrapes.

Applied as required to insect bites such as midges, mosquito, horse and sand flies it provides relief and reduces swelling. It is also effective as an insect repellent, spray exposed areas of skin as required.
